so
many languages to learn
i
am a power web surfer, spending most of my midnights all the
way till dawn in websites. the telephone charges for internet
connection is also cheaper during these absolutely non-peak
hours. so i happily went searching for sources where i can
puick up some skills especially in terms of programming. but
this fateful morning ( 4:06 am), i felt so left out, suddenly...
as
i am learning a "new" language in the market, those
mercenary inventors are thriving on another language. my dream
was to become a real multiligual, computer nerd...not nerd
actaully, but expert. but it seems quite difficult. new versions
of the same language is already forcing people to relearn
the whole dictionary, yet as foreign as it can be, new ones
appear.
some
are like bubbles, appear for a while and burst. some are like
plastic. non-biodegradable and can last for centuries underground,
in the back yard. i was wondering: why? everyone was advancing
so fast before me, and i am right here alone. no friends whom
i can tip from. anyway, i felt like listing the languages
here, and i promise, i didn't happen to come across a same
page with all the languages listed and i just cut and paste,
i didn't...all these were scattered all over the web.
can
start using CAPS LOCK now:
HTML,
DHTML, PHTML, XML, XHTML, ASP, VC, VB, VBA, VBS, JS, Java,
PERL, SMIL, Lotus Script, Flash Action Script, CSS, JHTML,
Oracle, PHP, JSP, MySQL, etc...
ok,
i admit defeat, there's more, but i can't remember at the
moment but these are all that i have read about, everything
a little. but the bits and pieces put together doesn't make
any sense at all. to really become a genius, i'll have to
really make an effort to complete every book i can find.
i
hate it when while i am in deep thoughts, insects come terrorizing
my emotions. yester was a big cockroach and today's a kind
of black beetle. yuck! so you see, if one becomes too ambitious,
he may not achieve anything eventually.
